Today will be on trust as an ingredient to a successful marriage.
Lack of Trust as we all know can pull down any form of Relationship how
much more a marriage. Please whoever has trust issues, I will advice to
hang on there before tieing the knot with anyone, because if your trust
issues is brought to matrimony then your spouse is in deep hot Afang
soup.
Trust like other defined terms may come out differently to every individual, but in this I will say Trust is a firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something. Now in marriage, I will say that there are different types of trust and are also very essential which include:
1. Sexual Faithfulness
2. Trust of Humility and service among st yourselves
3. Trust to Render Agape love or a never ending Love
4. Trust of Togetherness forever
5. Trust of making your marriage a top priority.
The first is self explanatory and we all know and understand, so will not bother explaining, because infidelity is the worst bridge of trust any marriage can have. From numbers 3-5 is also self explanatory just as stated, so no point going into it.
Now for no.2 which is humility and service. For the humility and service most Nigerian men will never agree to and I have talked about in this group is an important trust a woman needs from their man. Now have you ever heard about a woman saying please I need to rush now because I know and trust my husband will not do that and that. Hmmmmmmm, there are many things that show you as a real man. Being humble and serving to your wife does not mean you are stupid or you are less of a man, rather it only makes her respect and reverence you even more. Remember respect is earned not forced.
The man is the head and there is no argument on that, just that with your wife as the neck, if you do not come down and work together as a team, your head will always pain you, because you did not take the right sleeping position, making the neck to cause you severe pain that still eventually affects the head.
What am I trying to say here, I am saying that your wife is your neck and thereby the main support for your head, if you cause her pain and discomfort by constantly bulling, attacking, etc and all that will show you as a FAKE man, then just note that you are only doing yourself strong thing, as you are the main strong hold of yourself.
From personal investigation I have found out that men who respect, reverence, honour and take care of their wives turn out very blessed. I do not know why but I have seen this happen from trend. Even if the man is misbehaving, but the wife never sees it, but he still does all the above and more, he will always prosper. Please go and do this survey for yourselves too.
All I am saying is that my Pearl Jewels, please do not allow any of these above trust to be bridged by any of you to your spouse as trust in your marriage is highly key and cannot be ruled out. So a relationship that has no trust should please not waste time going to the altar and a marriage where any of the above selected trust or more has been killed can be worked on immediately to avoid a Divorce.
