Na wa oh, a lot of us must have definitely seen this, but I decided to put it forward again and ask how many of us truly love our spouses. Look at the above dimension and yard stick for Love and tell me which couple practices all this in total. If one spouse does, the other take them for granted and does not appreciate their effort and show of love.
Starting from number 1. Some couples claim they love each other and yet get a divorce at the slightest provocation or get a divorce when money stops coming in or even misbehaves because of the broke nature of their spouse that is for a period. Some men are so wicked to their wives and claim they are doing so because they love her. It is also shocking to note that some spouse envy their partner(spouse) because they achieved something they are yet to achieve instead of rejoicing and been happy for them.
Some spouse parade themselves like they are the first person to show someone love and rub it in by saying things like 'if not because I love you en, I would have done bla, bla, bla'. Well then don't love and allow the next available person sweep them off their feet. Being proud and puffed up for a love they should be giving from their heart. Some women are so rude to their spouse and yet you claim you love him, dashing your man's EGO to the rocks. Some men too are rude to their wives treating her like a thing you picked up from the streets, treating her like a maid, yet you claim you love her.
Everytime, you want your decision and stuff to prevail yet you claim you are in love, wanting and been selfish everytime. You claim to love your wife, yet you get angry and provoked over the slightest thing she does, raising your voice at her and getting pissed for what is not necessary. Even if you are the type that gets angry easily, why then to your wife or husband, somebody you claim you love, you should be soft towards and soft paddle your anger, but no, you will always show forth, forget it, you do not love her/him. You think very wicked and evil things towards your own spouse and yet you claim you love them. Hmmmmm interesting love you have indeed.
Your wife or husband does something wrong and you back them up and you claim you love them Abi? Not even cautioning them and telling them the truth, then you do not love them. You truly love your spouse if you can believe anything they tell you, if you can bear anything they do to you and if you can hope against all hope for what they can do. You cannot even endure a thing with them and yet you claim you love them. You want to finally get a divorce and yet you claim you love each other. Love does not fail so why are you failing on your vows, to love and to cherish, in richer and poorer, in sickness and in health till death do you part. Really is it death that is causing the separation?
I know sometimes it may not be within your power for the divorce, but what you can do, do it, by making the right choice and living by your decision for the rest of your life. Stay Married my Pearl Jewels's and twenty years from now, you will be glad you did. Happy Friday my Pearl Jewels. #PJO#.
